Ship 6301 took its first flight on April 29, 1988. As Boeing completed its test flight of the first 747-400, the second chapter of the 747 story began. Thirty years later, we celebrate this anniversary at the Delta 747 Experience, where you can explore the actual plane that made this historic flight.
In honor of this special day, all admission to the Delta Flight Museum will be a reduced rate of $7.47. Included with admission will be guided tours of Ship 6301 at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Tours will meet under the plane near the main landing gear. We hope to see you there!
