As part of the renovation project, we are building a new mezzanine in Hangar 2. This mezzanine will serve as additional exhibit/event space, provide access to our new simulator, and hide a new catering kitchen below. It also offers an outstanding view of Boeing 767 The Spirit of Delta. I got a chance to go up on the mezzanine this afternoon and here’s what it looks like.

Obviously, The Spirit of Delta is still covered in plastic and we’re not done, but I thought you might like a sneak peek. The nose and wing feel so close!
