On Saturday, May 23rd, we celebrate our 20th anniversary. Our gift to you is free admission! We'll be open our regular hours of 10am-4:30pm and admission is free for everyone that walks through our doors that day.
In 1990, a group of Delta retirees launched an effort to locate one of Delta's first 1940s Douglas DC-3 aircraft. This, combined with a consolidation of Delta's archival collections, created a groundswell of support that expanded into a museum. The Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum, Inc. (now known as the Delta Flight Museum) was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation on May 23, 1995.
We've grown a lot over the past 20 years and are excited to see what the next 20 will bring us!
